Aaron Jenks, AIA LEED AP
Dedicated to the highest quality solutions, cost control and innovative use of technology, Aaron excels in his ability to think outside the boundaries of convention. His philosophy, architecture is the physical expression of sound ideas and creativity generated from innovation, integrity, and teamwork, has been integral to his success as an award winning Architect. Rather than work from a predetermined approach, Aaron captures the vision of the client to create environments that are a thoughtful response to their program mission, budget, physical setting and functional purpose.
In a time when many architects specialize in one area, Aaron is well-rounded in all aspects of the profession. Involved in over a quarter billion dollars of construction, Aaron’s expertise includes new and renovated corporate offices, retail, call-centers, healthcare, education and industrial facilities for clients like Pay Pal, AAA of Michigan, Grand Valley State, University, Michigan State University, Steelcase and more. It is Aaron’s broad past experience that helps prepare his Clients for the cutting-edge needs of tomorrow.
As a LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Accredited Professional for a decade, Aaron has created buildings that produce more energy than they use, helped lowered corporate utility bills by capturing daylight for lighting, incorporated natural ventilation instead of Air Conditioning, and heating with solar or geothermal energy. Several projects Aaron has been involved with have earned coveted LEED Gold or Silver ratings from the U.S. Green Building Council (NCARB).
